The Dobrichka Troika is a trio of musicians from Dobrudzha, in
northeast Bulgaria. They play kopanka (a small gudulka), gaida
(bagpipe), and harmonika (button accordion). Their music is of an
old style characteristic of northeast Bulgaria, and has a rustic
and addicting tone. This CD contains 28 tunes. The companion book
will be available in 2001.
